How to fix your corrupted flash drive
Having a bad flash drive or a damage sd card can be so annoying to the point that you feel like throwing the flash drive away. If that's what you are going through right now, this post is definitely for you.
I will be given you some few steps on how to fix your corrupted flash/sd card, But firstly let see the factors that can lead to a Corrupted flash/sd card
What are the factors that can lead to a corrupted flash/sd card

This above mentioned factor can lead to a corrupted flash/sd card, so here are some solutions to the problem
Step 1: Cleaning the sd card could solve the problem because dust is one of the cause of corrupt sd card, so cleaning it thoroughly with soft thing like cotton wool could solve the problem, else try other options
Step 2: Formatting the flash/sd card on your pc will likely solve the problem and to do so follow this steps
On your pc insert the sd card or the corrupted flash drive into your pc and open command prompt as administrator, and run the following commands
- Diskpart
- List Disk
- Select Disk 1 (Disk 1 is the number that my flash drive is carrying your might be 2 or even 3)
- Clean ( This will wipe all data in your flash/sd card )
- Create Partition Primary ( This will create a new partition )
- Select Partition 1
- Format fs=fat32 quick or Format fs=NTFS quick
- Active ( For activating the formatted partition )
- Assign ( This will assign a new letter to your flash/sd card )
- Exit
Step 3: Using the CHKDSK command
In this step you will allow your pc to check the flash/sd card for you and try to fix, to do that
- Insert the flash/sd card into your pc
- Open cmd ( command prompt ) as administrator and type this following command
- CHKDSK E:/f mind you that E is the letter corresponding with my flash drive yours might be G:, H: etc as the case maybe.
- Hit ENTER and wait while your pc scan the corrupted device and try to fix it. Hopefully this should work
Step 4: Using Software
Using a third party software wont be a bad ideas, and their are a lot of them available to fix your flash/sd card examples are
- Disk Drill
- San Disk Repair Tool
- EaseUS Partition Master
- AOMEI Partition Assistant
There are many more of the software but this one's should do, after trying all this steps your flash/sd card should be fix and working fine but if eventually it does not work you should try
