Step 1: Stop unnecessary processes
Unnecessary programs running can slow down your pc speed, which will slow down your game speed, Ending processes that are not important can speed up your game speed. To do that (For windows)

- Right click on A process you want to Stop and
- Click End process

Upgrading your ram maybe from 2gb to 4gb ram, to me if you are really interested in gaming you should at least have up to 4gb, having enough ram increases the game speed even without reducing the game graphics setting.

Step 3: Upgrade from old HDD (Hard disk drive) to SSD (Solid state drive)
Moving from using HDD to SSD will increase your gaming experience because the HDD has a cd which keep on spinning unlike the SSD which is like a usb. This make the SSD much faster than the mechanical hard drive, and this a great way to optimize your computer. The SSD reduces the load time while you play which is super awesome
Step 4: Update your graphics drivers
Having an outdated drivers install on your will slow up your game, so i advice advice you update your drivers to the latest version doing so, will increase your pc gaming speed. To do so, visit your manufacturer website and search for the updated drivers for your graphics card. You can also do that by downloading some software's like

Step 5: Change some settings in the game
Some games come with high graphics settings, Reducing it can boost the speed of the game play. To do this this launch the game and move option, next click on Graphics setting and reduce it from very high to either high or even medium as the case may be. This steps may vary due to the game you playing
